I really, really wish we could bring back Chris Farley just for one day so he could shoot an SNL skit as Rob Ford. I can't believe Rob Ford is a real person and not someone out of Tommy Boy.

We moved from our old house that we are not allowed to rent out 3 years ago to be closer to my husband's mother after his father passed away. She can't/wont do things like get the mail or take out the garbage. Or eat a well balanced meal instead of a bag of chips or McDonald's for dinner. She's had quite a few "mini strokes" in the past two years, is in remission for breast cancer, and last week found out she had a blockage and she refuses to undergo another bypass. She had a triple done years ago. So before the move we were traveling across the county multiple times a day every day. It's only a 30 minute drive, but it adds up like that.
Well, the house can't sell. The neighborhood it is in never bounced back. The houses there are worth less than 20,000 now. We owe much more than that.
We tried for a deed in lieu of foreclosure but got denied earlier this week. We tried for a short sale, but no realtors will work with us because of the neighborhood.
We are filing for bankruptcy protection.
I feel like such a failure. And so does my husband, and nothing I say makes him feel better.
But there's my confession.
Bankruptcy. A failure. And knowing how stupid it was to own two houses but doing it anyway.
But we didn't have much of a choice since our old house was too small for her and doesn't want to leave. And we rented for a while but that cost us almost double what our mortgage for our current house costs us.

2 of my husband's students have bed bugs and I am so disgusted. I was up late doing 3 loads of laundry last night and I have at least 2 more to do tonight. The school nurse said we were low risk but there in my opinion there is no such thing as low risk. I'm totally being judgmental on these kids parents, how can they be so dirty.

I am not grossed out by much but bed bugs do the trick.

In my rage I can't punctuate, this is the second bed bugs outbreak, not to mention last year we had to deal with roaches and fleas. I still want to vomit thinking about it. I almost called out to clean and do laundry.

Have you guys fumigated?

The school had to, we lucked out on those issues with just doing some cleaning and lots of laundry. I will freak the F out if we get bed bugs, because the only way you really get rid of those is throwing out your furniture. I think this will be the 3rd time in a year the school has to be fumigated.

I got a call today to say that the front desk guy called in sick (again) and could I come in to work. This guy calls out sick for multiple days in a row at least once a month. Anyhow, I missed the call because I was still asleep, and by the time I called back they had someone else. I had totally dragged my feet calling him back in the hopes they'd find someone else, and it worked. Dodged that bullet.

I know! It's so embarrassing for Toronto. Its also a train wreck that I can't stop watching. He keeps doing stupid things, its like he can't help himself. Next years election can't come fast enough.

Omg @jenndawnp I would freak the eff out if I thought I somehow had bed bugs in my house. Freak. Out.

My confession is that my coworker is sick and I don't feel bad for her because she kept hacking and coughing all over the place and wasn't covering her mouth for most of it. Disgusting.
