    There was a line of people sitting outside at Best Buy last night when we were out looking at appliances.  Better them than me I guess....

    It was a line of three people and 4 xboxes. I wasn't worried because I knew they had 4. I wouldn't have sat in a line like that.

    I think there was about 6 people in line when we walked in.  A car had pulled up with "supplies"....

    I don't love my H $500.00 worth of a gaming system.

    As right now he is trying to tell me it isn't a "game system" its and entertainment system or media interaction.

    Jen - That's mainly what we use our 360 for.  We actually rarely play game on it but it is nice to have for games when we want.  We'll probably wait to get one pending the reviews.  We watch Netflix through our 360 and HBO Go.  It's great.

    We use our for the same reason. I mean T is a big gamer but I've grown to like the 360 for Netflix, Hulu, ESPN (for my football games!) and YouTube. It doubles as our DVD player as well. I'm with Michelle, pending reviews, we'll go from there.

    Oh you're not! The 360 came with T haha. He bought that with his own money when we were dating. We sold his old one to my parents to get a "newer" model however.

    We wouldn't have an HD TV if it wasn't my step-mom and her awesome shopping skills haha. She found a sweet deal and we scooped it up.

    We are looking at Black Friday deals but nothing is really standing out.  I read a news article today saying that it is best to wait till the end of Dec to buy a new TV financially.

    Oh yeah P had his 360 when we met.  He also had the original xbox in the closet until we recently donated it before our move.  Come to think of it we did have to buy another 360 a few years ago because his died.  That whole red ring of death thing.

    T got his about a year after the 360 came out after the glitch was fixed so he got lucky. I think that's part of the reason why he wants to wait on the One.

    I always thought it was right after the super bowl.  At the end of December, everybody is going out to get their new super bowl TVs.

    I got my last one as an online Black Friday special.

    Haha I'm the console gamer in the relationship. I was the one with the 360 and the wii. Then shortly after we started dating, we decided to get the ps3 (black friday deal, of course). I haven't really looked into the xbox one or the ps4 yet so see pros and cons. I figured if I don't research, I won't be tempted to buy yet haha

    I forgot that P isn't really interested in the xbox one because he said that they aren't selling the games on disc anymore, you download them.  I don't see the problem with that but he doesn't like it.  Soo yeah not sure if we will get one.

    The problem is you don't really "own" the games anymore.  If you have a physical disc, you can play it as long as the system continues to function.  With the downloadable games, it is more like you're "renting" them until they decide you can't anymore....

    That's the simplified version.....
