What are you doing?
I'm working on homework and I have the Baylor/OSU game on TV in the background. I was going to go for a glass of wine but I really need to get a paper written and a quiz taken tonight. So no alcohol for me. Enjoying a rootbeer instead. And I'm enjoying having the house to myself for a day since my MIL flew out this morning for two weeks and my mother isn't due to arrive until tomorrow evening. She's coming to babysit Lily while I have class on Monday and Tuesday.
Re: It's saturday night
Then as I am leaving I get a text from David saying J was crying way to hard about going to daycare so be took him to work. Ugh. I then drive 45 min to his restaurant to get, " why didn't you get here sooner?!" Gez I worked my butt off and ran to get him as fast as I could. Not really my fault you took him to work with you. A lot of 2 year olds cry when you drop them off. Don't they?
Sorry I'm getting carried away. Michelle I am having enough wine for both of us.
My paper is an analysis of the article "The Virgin Group in 2012". It's about the guy who started the brand and all the different companies under it like Virgin Mobile, Virgin Airlines, ect. Still reading it but I have to do the analysis based on " You will analyze the potential benefits and costs of extending the horizontal or vertical scope of a firm, evaluate the different ways of exploiting opportunities for value creation by changing a firm’s scope, and apply the techniques of portfolio analysis to corporate strategic decisions." That's what my professor wrote. Boo!!! Not enjoying this class. Can't wait for it to be over.
Confused, I asked him how I could get it right when the answers didn't make sense. He had modified the equation so that the calculations could be done by hand. So now, the answers didn't make sense for the physical world the equation was describing.
