Book Club Monday

What are you reading now? Did you finish anything over the weekend?

Re: Book Club Monday

  • Halfway through Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss.  Still liking it, but it's a touch depressing.  Main character can't catch a break to save his life!

Almost done Where we belong - Emily Griffen.  I'm actually liking it!  I'm so hit or miss with chick lit, but this is a good one!

  • I'm still reading Lover Awakened (BDB#3) and starting to enjoy it much more. I didn't get a lot of reading done this weekend.

  • I finished Compliance (Deviants #2) yesterday.  It was good, but didn't have as much action as the first book.  I gave it 3 stars, mostly because I have had it with YA love triangles!  Seriously super annoying.

Not sure what to start today.  I have The Edge of Always I preordered it and have just been looking at it on my kindle.  I have a feeling that is one that will make DH a book widow.  I loved the first one!

I finished Daughter of Smoke and Bone last night. I LOVED it!!! It was really good. I enjoyed it because while there were some predictable pieces, a lot of the story kept you guessing until the last little bit. I enjoyed that since I feel like I can predict what's going to happen with a lot of books. I've got the 2nd one on my to-read list.

I started Through the Ever Night last night (Under the Never Sky #2). It's good so far, but I haven't had enough time to really get into it.

ETA: I got the book name slightly wrong. haha.
