Almost over. Spent this weekend getting the last of the furniture out of the house. Ended up having to make two trips. While I appreciate my family coming to help, there are times that having additional people just doesn't help and just gets in the way.
So right now, the apartment looks like an old warehouse just exploded into it. Ended up having to make two trips which just drug the whole process out. Started at about 9am and finished at 8pm. ![]()
The car wasn't done Saturday, so will be picking it up on Tuesday when we go down to sign the papers.
Kinda tired of dealing with the people buying my house. Trying to coordinate the handing over of utilities and just can't get a response from them. They've been like this through the entire process. Like do you want to buy this house or not?
Also, I think we caught the sellers of our new house in a lie as they all the sudden sent over an addendum for the repairs we asked for that they originally balked at doing. So at least one thing is going my way. That will be less money we have to come up with at closing.
Beyond that, just waiting to hear back from the mortgage company and the underwiters. Not worried about it, but just nice to get the official word that we're moving forward.
I'm so over this. ![]()
Going up to DC to watch Doctor Who in the theatre with a friend of mine tonight, so won't get home until late again. Also need to notify the apartment people that we're not renewing. There's so not enough time in a day anymore..... ![]()
Re: ugh....
Did you enjoy the 50th?
I didn't watch the simulcast.....a friend of mine and I are seeing it on Thursday, so no spoilers please!
And I hate leaving things to the last minute too.
I've watched it since the 80s. The original series ran for 26 seasons. The restarted it a couple years ago. So the 50th anniversary is since the original series started in 1963....
I hate it when other people leaving things until the last minute prevents you from being pro-active about things.
Exactly.....:) It's like these things need to happen and with Thanksgiving happening this week, that's only 4 days for this stuff to be dealt with before closing.
