Job offer, thank god!
Hi Ladies,
I don't know if you remember but I lost my main part time job just over a month ago when the company closed down. I've been applying like crazy to all sorts of jobs since then and have gone on a couple interviews, and finally got a job offer today!
I'll be a barista in a coffee house, which is fine, the only thing that sucks is that I'll be making almost $4 less per hour then I was (not that I'd expect to be paid what I was making as Web Dev as a barista, but still - sucks). I also won't be able to work quite as much as I'd like, since they give part timers insurance and I need to stay below the hour cap so I can stay on DH's insurance (he works for the school district and if I'm offered insurance elsewhere I am required to take it).
Besides those minor things though - such a relief!!

Congrats on the new job! I have often said that if I was without a job and couldn't get one in my field, I would love to be a barista. I think I'm addicted to coffee, but it still looks fun to me. Can't wait to hear an update on how you like it
