Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Why do some people suck, but are excellent at working the system?
Can you tell this will be a rant? H had to go to court today, over the issue with his tenants that ended with one of them STABBING HIM, and the guy who stabbed him "wasn't prepared" so they scheduled court for Jan 10th!!! WTF, be prepared, or lose your case...right? I mean hopefully he loses even when he is prepared because he stabbed my husband!!! (In the arm...DH is fine now) But this happened in JULY how are you not ready? In case you're wondering, no, no one was arrested, because we have a rental property in the #1 worst city to live in according to that new poll (luckily we don't actually live there!) AND DH is selling his bussiness and got a new job that was supposed to start tomorrow, great, right? except They called him over the weekend asking if he could start Monday, and he had to explain he was busy at court. He's the victim and did nothing wrong, but it still looks bad. So...he went to court, missed what could have been his first day of work, and all that happened was it got rescheduled!!!
(background- He got beat up in his rental property...they locked him in a bathroom, jammed him in the tub, and turned the water on his face while 3 guys beat him with things like the railing they ripped off the wall...which we now have to fix. Oh yeah, and we had to store their stuff b/c this didn't get them evicted, and one of them tried to burn the house down on purpose...also doesn't get you evicted!)
