Temp drop question for charters
Do y'all typically get a huge temp drop before ovulation?
I think that after 5 years, my body may finally be getting it's crap together. Maybe. I'm almost afraid to say that. I ovulated the last two cycles ON MY OWN and I can't help but be hopeful that it'll happen again. I wasn't temping my first O cycle (70 days, July - Sep) so I don't know what happened there with my temps, but my last cycle (44 days) I did temp and actually (oddly) had a big temp drop on CD 25, just like I had today on CD 25. My temps have been unusually stable this cycle too. So I'm hopeful. I know that drops are common at ovulation, but what about before O?
I'm still not putting too much stock in the OPKs based on past history, but I am taking them and have noticed the line getting darker (still negative though for sure).
Sorry, I'm wordy. All that to say, if you O on your own, do you typically see a drastic drop a few days before? Just curious!
This is so crazy... I had all but assumed that I'd never ovulate again on my own and that the BCP had screwed me up for life! Strange that it's taken 5 years, almost exactly! So weird 
And if I AM finally "regulating", it'd be very similar to how I was pre-bcp, with long, random cycle lengths...

Also, I really hope that this means your body is finally regulating and getting cycles on its own. Whatever you're doing differently, keep doing it. :-)

I would BD today just to be safe, but still keep doing your OPK's to see if they get darker and turn positive. Especially since it looks like you had a temp dip last time right before O.
