I left a really easy job that paid enough for us to live comfortably for a much more challenging job, a better title, and better pay almost a year ago. Most days I'm happy with the decision. I'm in a "career" job now and I can see opportunities in the future. Sure, it's hard work. Really, really hard work some days (and those are the days I wonder why I left the easy job), but I'm happy with it. It was the right decision, as tempting as it was to stay on cruise for a few more years.
