I had an IUD and no periods for several years. The IUD is out now. After a few weeks I did get my period and now I'm charting my first full month. I don't really know what to expect from my body yet. I'm also using the Clear Blue Ovulation Predictor Kit. I'm on day 8 this cycle and 'high' fertility today. My temps the last 5 days have ranged 97.3 - 97.7 - 97.2 - 97.2 - 98.0. That's 0.8 degree range looks bigger than the example charts I've seen. I'm not worried, but curious if this is typical. Should I expect my post-ovulation temp to be significantly higher than 98.0?
Re: Charting temp question
Everyone is so different. You'll have to figure out what is normal for your body which could take a couple months. You can also be a little wonky for a few months so don't necessarily expect the first cycle or two to be "normal". That said, I wouldn't be concerned about a jump like that. It's not that uncommon to have a couple rocky mountains thrown in your cycle
You sound like you're doing the right thinsg by temping and using the OPK so hopefully you'll get it all sorted out ASAP! Good luck!
