If you have a SUV what kind do you have? Our truck is about to be paid off this month and I want to trade it in. We also have a Mercury Mariner. It's way too small if we decide to have another kid (which we are 99%) going to do next year. I need something with two rows. DH wants a Ford, I want a Toyota. Any suggestions?

Re: SUV
The Rowdy Roberts
My SIL has the Toyota Highlander and LOVES IT! But since we have been looking at cars we have found that Toyotas SUV's are getting up into the luxury SUV price range. I Love love love the Traverse but that is a little big for what we are looking at. The GMC Terrain is also pretty sweet too.
I have a Toyota Rav4 and I love it to pieces. It would be way too small for you though. My mom and my mother-in-law both have a Highlander and love them. I've driven it and it does drive nicely. My sister has a Chevy Equinox and it's nice but it's too small for them so it would be too small for you too. It's way too tight for her three boys with the two car seats in the back. When they have her step-daughter, they have to take two cars.
ETA - H has a 4 door Wrangler and everyone knows my hatred for it. It's way too small and barely fits the three of us and the dog.
But the Expedition has the 3rd row and is a super duper sweet ride.
He did find me a one with a black and gray interior that did look pretty nice. It just looks like the truck but with out the bed on it. So much wider than a toyota. If you look at the side panel of the driver side door of our truck, you will see a slight indentation going down it from when I tried to reverse and I side swiped a fence. A giant white fence.
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE MY PILOT. I looked at the Highlander, but the middle seat is too small for a carseat and the back seat is pretty cramped. I have Lillian's big car seat in my middle seat and there's still room for 2 adults or 2 car seats on either side. I can comfortably sit in my 3rd row, which is rare in 3rd rows.
