Heading to H's brothers house to spend the day with his two brothers, their kids, and H's mom. I really, really wish I could drink...
ETA: Sorry this is so negative, Thanksgiving is usually my favorite holiday. But, I'm in a funk this year because our plans are different. We usually make a big Thanksgiving meal for H's employees and bring it to them to say thank you for all they do, and because they have to work on the holiday. But, instead, we are spending the day with H's family (who we normally see on Saturday). I clearly don't do change well...
I'm leaving work at noon today. H should be back from his run around that time too, then it's onto NC! It's snowing down there already... I hope VA is still clear. Thankgiving with ILs, then I hope my mamaw doesn't get too much snow so we can go see her Saturday.
We are going to Thanksgiving at MIL's house. DH has a huge extended family so I think she's serving like 40 people. I really think this is DH's grandpa's last Thanksgiving so I thought it was important that we spend it with him.
DH's birthday is Black Friday so we are going to a Wild Game. He's really excited about it.
H's parents' house tomorrow for dinner with his fam, then going to my hometown for the weekend to visit my mom and celebrate with my family at my godmother's house.

We are going to my parents house tomorrow, but not to celebrate Thanksgiving. We are going to watch football and order pizza (assuming there's a pizza place open near them). We are celebrating Thanksgiving on Saturday, when my sister and her husband are back from their honeymoon. For "Thanksgiving", we will be going to my parents house, along with my grandma, and my sister and brother-in-law.
It has snowed here, but not as much as was expected. We probably only have about 3 or 4 inches, and it has almost stopped snowing.
Leaving in a few hours to visit DH's family in Michigan. I have no idea on any sort of real tentative plans. No clue what's for dinner, where we'll be, etc. The only thing I know for sure is that apparently my mother in law planned a snowy zoo trip this weekend while we're away since we'll have the nephew with us.
It pouring rain here, I hope it doesn't change over to snow. I'm not in the mood to shovel. Good luck and safe travels to anyone traveling in the bad weather!
I refuse to not see my family on a holiday and I don't think H should have to sacrifice, so we see both. We have dinner with my parents at 1 but my brother, SIL and nephew won't be there because SIL's family celebrates then, too. They're going to my parents' later. After we eat with my parents and grandmother, we're heading to H's parents house, about 45 minutes away with no traffic (hoping for a smooth drive), to see H's family. There's about 25 people there and it's crazy and fun. Since Hanukkah begins tonight, H's family will be celebrating tomorrow also. I'm not so excited because all of the kids wanted gift cards. I won't be as happy to watch them open it up and be like "Yes! Money to Target!" H's 8 year old cousin asked for a Target gift card. I laughed when his mother told me.
H has off on Friday so I am excited for a long weekend at home
We are going to my family thanking first tomorrow then we go to H dad side thanksgiving. Friday we go to H mom side thanksgiving. My family thanksgiving almost got cancelled due to everyone having to work with this Black Friday now starting on Thursday but once they got their schedules we were able to schedule thanksgiving again around it.
DH is working a stretch of nights (7pm-7am) starting tonight (Wed) - Sat morning. We will be having our Thanksgiving on Sunday. It's just the 2 of us this year, which I'm ok with...it'll be a simple quiet Thanksgiving. It's also my birthday on Sun : )
We will be going to my families house (about 2 1/ 2 hrs away) around noon. After dessert we plan on coming back upstate to his parents house. Since we did our u/s today we plan to tell our parents and siblings we are expecting rather than waiting till christmas .
@mana8503 I thought of you because we traveled to SC to see H's Nana. We didn't go through Asheville, but could have and so I was sending "Hey, I'm closer than normal!!!" vibes. haha
