Re: CPW: Jeggings

  • I LOL'd when I saw this because I have a pair that I have worn maybe twice in the past, I dunno, five years. One of those two times is today :-) but only because I knew we'd be in the car all day.

  • Ha ha I was just talking to my SIL about these.  Both of us weren't sure exactly what these were until we saw my lil sis wearing them.  I don't have any, but perhaps I would wear them, not sure...

  • No. Just wrong.  Although, I wouldn't wear leggings either.  Leggings are not pants.

  • I mostly own "jeggings". However, I find that they fit more like skinny jeans. Mine are not super tight and have pockets, a zipper and button, like normal jeans would.
Congrats to my TTC buddy Madeline! Cheering for all the strong 3T ladies!

  • Yeah.  My mom got me a pair for my birthday.  She was so super proud of herself.  I don't know that I'd ever seen a real pair before.  TBH, I don't know that I would have known they were jeggings if the tag hadn't said so.

Maybe now I'll stop getting them confused with Pajama Jeans?

  • My stepdaughters have jeggings to wear under dresses that have gotten a little too short as they've grown.  That is the only acceptable reason to wear them.

  • I'm with @ystaalenburg...the only acceptable time to wear jeggings/leggings in public is under a short dress or something that is thigh length.  Jeggings/leggings are NOT pants.
