I REALLY, really like this book so far.  Thanks to all of you who recommended it!  It's really good as an audiobook, too.

I was unsure about it because I didn't care for Gone Girl, but this is so much better.  I'm just about 1/2 through it and I have a couple of theories about what happened, and I'm fascinated by all the stories surrounding the one day and night.

    The ending is pretty good. I liked it much more than Sharp Objects. I love how Flynn can create such unlikeable characters but still keep you interested in the plot.

    I really liked Dark Places as well.  I didn't love Gone Girl so I was unsure about reading Dark Places but ended up liking it much better!

    For now, I kind of like Libby.  In a "I feel really bad for you and how naively you have lived your whole life" kind of way.  I think she's the only one I like, though.  Ben weirds me out, Lyle is a creeper, Runner is a douche . . .  but I'm only half through, my opinions may change.

    But yeah, I hated every single character in Gone Girl.  And I thought the plot was predictable and I absolutely hated the ending.  So far this is so much better.

    I really liked this one as well. This might be my favorite of hers, actually.
