OMG YOU GUYS I LOVED THIS SO MUCH! If you are at all a fan of Zuzana and Mik in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone books, then you need to get this ASAP. It's short and sweet and so much fun! I alternates between their two POVs and I didn't want it to be over.
If you've read the 1st book then you know all you need to know for it to make sense. You don't need the 2nd book. It takes place during the time period of the 1st book.
