  • How many times/minutes did you move last week? 5x/200min total; 4 days of crosstraining/HIIT and one killer yoga class

    What's on the agenda this week. 5x this week (HIIT yesterday, sprint intervals today, weight tomorrow, plus two more days of something) and a yoga class on the weekend.

    What is favorite type of physical activity? I love yoga and I love weights.  I also love to swim but its way harder for me to get to the pool than it is for me to get to the yoga studio or my basement to train.

    What is something you would like to try but haven't? I would love to try cross-fit, but it's just so expensive for a membership.

    What's on the agenda this week. Hump Day 5k at 5am tomorrow. Then hopefully a run again on Friday and Saturday.  I'm thinking about going with H tonight during his basketball league, and running lines in the gym or running the stairs.

    What is favorite type of physical activity?  Sand volleyball, but that involves drinking too.  So I likely take in just as many calories as I burn.

    What is something you would like to try but haven't?  Training and doing a triathalon.  It's pretty high up on my to-do list, but there isn't an open pool around here to be able to train in for the swimming part.  That's the only part that I am leery about, so I know I will need some training.

    You should totally try to find a spot to swim and do a tri.  I did a try-a-tri in 2011 which was a 100m swim, 13km bike, and 2.5km run. It was my first race of any kind and a very empowering experience even though it was relatively short.  I'm lucky because swimming is my strength when most people find it to be the toughest leg, but running is my weakness so I had to train more for that instead.  I did get my PB in the race which felt good. I am considering doing another one because it was so much fun.
