1. Do you have one every year? We didn't last year due to wedding, Hurricane Sandy and going to NC Thanksgiving and Christmas. NEVER AGAIN! I missed my tree!

4. When do you put it up? I wanted to before Thanksgiving, but it's going up tonight.
5. When do you take it down? As late as H lets me have it up!

2. Real or Artificial? I grew up with artificial trees, and I was so excited to get my first real tree a few years ago! I'll never go back to artificial trees!

Artificial, but my family had real trees when I was growing up and I would love to have real ones again. Maybe next year.

Normally it would be up by now (I try for Thanksgiving weekend, if possible) but we are moving on Saturday so hopefully soon after that.
5. When do you take it down?
It varies, but usually the beginning of January.

3. Colored lights or white? Colored lights - that's what our pre-lit tree came with.

Yes! Although this will be the first year that DH and I have our own individual tree since it's our first Christmas not at our parents'.

Artificial. My allergies would never allow me to have real.

I'm a sucker for the colored ones. But white does look very pretty.

Usually after thanksgiving.

Theoretically, plan for at least around new years. Due to my mom's health the one year, we did have the "easter tree"

I put one up every year. I hate my tree and am not putting it up this year

The tree I have an artificial, tabletop tree. I'm over it and I want a real tree. My parents got a real tree every year since I was 9. H's parents also get HUGE real trees.

I can go either way on a tree, I have white lights though. Outside, I only like white lights.

I usually put it up around the 10th, or the closest weekend.
5. When do you take it down?
Before I got back to work, after New Year's Day. Sometimes I take it down on New Year's Day.
1. Do you have one every year? we have every year we've lived together. When we were in the apartment, our roommate did the big tree, but H and I got mini trees for our bedroom.
2. Real or Artificial? Real, even the little ones!! (Although we do have 2 artificial mini-trees)
3. Colored lights or white? I'm a huge fan of colored lights, so we have those on our main tree. The outside and our mini-trees are white lights, which I like as well.
4. When do you put it up? We put it up this past weekend!
5. When do you take it down? We'll see...January sometime.
