Anyone an Account Executive?

I am curious about the ins and outs of an Account Exe position, particularly outdoor or radio advertising. Has anyone held a position of sort? What was your experience? (Pros/Cons) Do you have any tips? What is the compensation like?

I was just entertaining the idea of pursing an account executive position post college graduation. So, no I haven't found anything in the area but I had gotten an hr rep's card at a job fair for a local media group. It is okay that you commented late. I just so happen to check it just now. I had kind of forgotten about the post.
Why did you only do it for 10 months? Did you dislike it? What are you doing now?
I am about to graduate this semester (in 2 weeks, although still have a couple of assignments left to do) and do have some job leads for non commission work.
