I'm back home and my aunt did it. I totally laughed because there's nothing there to really rub yet (even though I catch myself doing it all the time). I almost told her it was fat she was rubbing but I didn't want to take it away from her and she's more than welcome to rub away (love her to death). Just thought I'd share the funny. Ohhh, and I'm not sure bc I've never had it before, but I just ate some popcorn and might be having a little heartburn? I don't know what it feels like? (Heartburn that is, not popcorn. I've had that plenty haha)

Re: Had my first belly rub
Acid reflux for me feels more of a sharp pain under the sternum or burning in my throat.
Do either of those sound like it?
ETA I liked to find the humor in getting my blump rubbed, and it was sweet that everyone was as excited as I was for baby, even if it was weird having my fat rubbed. Lol

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."

I've also heard milk helps heartburn, but I wouldn't know because I don't drink milk.
GDI. I know this will sound stupid, but it's always been a weird source of pride for me that I've never had heartburn. I don't know why. Maybe because I thought it meant I had a strong constitution or something silly. So I'm sad about this. Thankfully right now it's more of annoyance and I hope it stays that way. Thanks for answering my questions!
Also, I didn't mind the belly rubs either
