Large dog christmas idea?
My sister has added a second lab to her "family" and I wanted to get them something for christmas since they are my only nephews. Any good gift ideas for a large dog? Or large dog owner? The normal dog toys are not a great idea since the little guy chews and eats anything he shouldn't swallow. Quite goat like... but since I live firmly in the little dog world I wasn't sure what would be a fun gift for them!
Re: Large dog christmas idea?
But instead of the standard tennis type balls, we use the "rebounce balls". My doberman will destroy a tennis ball in one chomp, but we've had the rebounce balls for a long time and he hasn't destroyed one yet--even though he will sit and chew on it like a piece of gum.
You can find them at the pet stores/target/walmart, etc.
The only bone she uses frequently is a nylabone. It stands up to her chewing well.
Kong or other assorted kong type toys?
A dog bed? Check out Marshall's or TJMaxx. They have decent prices on them. I think ours was only $12.99
A cute dog collar/leash/tags?
A fancy dog food/water bowl?
Gourmet dog treats?

I just saw in michaels they had a decorate food bowl kit. Kind of like those mug kits for kids to decorate. Would be cute to have EJ decorate
We have a lab. They are crazy, but loveable creatures. This is a big hit for back yard play http://www.petco.com/product/6025/Jolly-Pet-Tug-n-Toss-Dog-Toys.aspx He had it for about 3 years before he chewed the handle off.
We just bought him this bowl and its awesome. http://www.petco.com/product/117354/Neater-Feeder-Cranberry-Elevated-Dog-Diner.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch
