Happy Friday, everyone! Anything exciting going on this weekend?
Re: Weekend plans?
Sat/Sun: I have to head into work for just a little while Saturday morning, then I'm not sure about the order or days for things, but we hope to go to Red Robin for my birthday burger (YAY!!) and see that house in cranberry that is all decorated and the lights are set to music while we're up in that direction. We are also hoping to see Frozen, and Brian is goign to the game on Sunday.
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
Tonight I am playing Bunco with work people.
Tomorrow we are supposed to do the Jingle Bell Run, but it seems like everyone is canceling, so we might skip it. We have a birthday party in the afternoon, then the boys are headed to Grandma's and we are going out to dinner for both of our birthdays.
Sunday Rich is going to the game, so I'll probably have a lazy day with the boys because I am traveling for work next week.
We've been in some state of Christmas decorating for a week now. I'm tripping over boxes everywhere. We ordered new lights for one of the trees, and they only arrived yesterday, so now we have to finish the ornaments, etc. My big plan is to wash, dry and put away approximately 10000x items that have been piling up, finish putting up the trees and get out my Christmas dishes. I'm hoping to start baking and will nag Steve until he finishes putting up the lights and sounds of Christmas--all we've had is our walkway snowflakes this past week, and I want the rest.
We also have gymnastics and swim lessons and I had wanted to do Kennywood lights this weekend. That depends on how the weather looks. I'm not liking the forecast right now.
Tim is running the Jingle Bell Run tomorrow and I might take Logan to Gymboree thanks to another free class pass. We have a Christmas party at night.
Sunday we're attempting christmas pictures with Logan and my nephew. Logan has decided he doesn't like his picture taken anymore, so we'll see how this goes!
TGIF ladies!
tonight- not much. DH is at camp hunting. So just Madi and myself. Maybe order some food or get a take and bake pizza.
tomorrow- my mom is coming over. Gymnastics at noon and then we hope to go to Kennywood's lights- weather permitting. Maybe we will see you there Lisa!
Sunday- DH comes home. We hope to get our tree. Also MIL is trying to organize us all going to DH's grandma's for her bday. The weather seems iffy that day too. Joy.
Tonight - decorate the tree!
Saturday - Transiberian Orchestra in the afternoon with my dad, christmas gift exchange with some friends tomorrow night.
Sunday - kids Christmas party at the German Club at 2 and then taking the kids (along with my mom & niece) to see Madeline's Christmas at the Little Lake theater at 4:30.
Busy weekend!!!
Happy Friday! Stay warm!
Tonight - I need to take Gavin out to get a birthday gift for a friend. I'd also like to return a couple of things to the stores.
Saturday: Gavin may or may not have flag footbal tomorrow, due to weather, so that will be in the morning if he does. (We're getting weather in the 30s right now, whereas it was 80 two days ago!) Then it's back home to shower and clean up, and back out to a birthday party from 1-3p. The evening - I have no idea. Maybe start digging out the Christmas decorations.
Sunday: I was planning on decorating all day, but now DH's boss invited us all over to his house for Noonish. *sigh* I hope to be back by 4 or 5, as our development is hosting a visit with Santa from 4-6p, and I've seen pics of Santa and he's pretty "real"!
My three sons!
Tomorrow – Pancake breakfast fundraiser for Heather’s school. When we get home, I want to finish decorating for Christmas and do the chores I put off during the week due to solo parenting. I also need to design and order our Christmas card and make a master Christmas to do/to buy list.
Sunday – Kids have a swimming lesson and a birthday party. I’m doing drop-in help at the yarn shop. We need groceries and there will be laundry to do. I need to figure out if Heather has appropriate clothes for her holiday concert next week, and buy things if she doesn’t. Possibly shop for the kids and/or work on the Christmas card address list.
Sunday I am having friends over for dinner, so grocery shopping will be required too. Monday is my birthday so I am not working and will be going to the hockey game with K in the evening.
