    Tonight is the last Friday they are offering a Turbo Kick class at the gym (which is my favorite class) so I really want to go but I have to make 4 dozen cookies for a cookie swap tomorrow.  I really don't want to start baking cookies at 7:30 tonight.  I might just cheat and find some cookies at the bakery that I can pass off as my own.  Or I could turn to my good buddy the Pilbury Dough Man.

    Senior managers at my company tends to get food gift boxes around the holidays that they generally shares with the whole office. This year three of them got stuff from one of those gourmet food stores that sell mixes, crackers, jams/jellies, etc. I took home a couple small jars (garlic mustard just looked really good & so did this onion and garlic spread). I figured there were two others of each kind so no one would notice any missing. I really can't wait to try them either.
    Whether or not you find your own way, you're bound to find some way. If you happen to find my way, please return it, as it was lost years ago. I imagine by now it's quite rusty.”

    There was an unfortunate puking incident last night and I got a bit in my hair.  I got myself and Wes all cleaned up and settled and remembered just before bed that I forgot to clean my hair.  I just shrugged and went to bed. I'm gross.

    Since showers are a topic of discussion recently, I DID shower this morning, so I am now puke free.

    I recently switched clients, and sit on-site several days a week.  My old clients, well, let's just say the joke is that the most extroverted people look at your shoes instead of their own when speaking to you.  It was okay, but really not ideal for my personality.  Think of an office filled with people with Asberger's.

    My new clients are the polar opposites - like this large Italian family where there are no inside voices, nobody listens, and hour-long conference calls include at least 20 minutes of 3 people yelling at the same time.  

    Why is there no happy medium where people are just normal?

    I deeply love The Sound of Music. My fourth grade teacher showed it to our class and everyone else was like "WTH?" but  I was all googily eyed with love. lol. 

    I have even been to Rocky Horror-style SoM sing alongs. Twice. True story.

    I didn't watch the one last night because we only have internet-tv, but I'll probably try to watch it if I see it online somewhere? I would never expect it to be as good as the original, but I don't think it was a horrible idea to give it a go.

    I've laid around a pool, read books and mags, done crossword puzzles and drank everyday since Saturday as I arrived here that day (cancun) I don't plan on doing anything differently next week. I leave on dec 14.
    Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!! my read shelf:

    I got my application for degree back today with approval for May graduation. Yay!

    My confession is that I believe I've learned about all I'm going to learn and wish I could just pay my spring tuition and be handed my piece of paper saying I'm smart without actually going to my last 3 classes.

    I'm tempted to swear off Christmas altogether this year and tell everyone in MH's family where to go.I am bitter that I have to buy gifts for so many people that I dislike so strongly.

    ^this is saying a lot because I usually adore Christmas. I'm one of those Christmas freaks!

    The Breakfast Club
    Pretty in Pink
    Grease
    Grease 2
    Any of the Bourne movies
    Any of the Oceans movies

    I have, however, watched the movie 9 to 5 about 7 million times, and when I was little it was my absolute favorite movie.

    I'm too tired to think. My job is so mentally exhausting and when I get home I just want to collapse on the couch and not move. But my friend surprised me with a trip to Barnes and Noble.

    You guys. I am so tired I could barely even be excited while there. This is not okay.
