I saw this in the Money Matters thread and thought why not ask it here? So what are your goals for 2014?
These are mine - mostly financial:
1. In January, we are solely living off of DH's paychecks. I will use my paychecks to pay off the last 2 credit cards that I have. I should be done in March (if everything sticks to the plan). We will then use my paychecks to finish our start-up E-fund and start on the DP for a house.
2. In March, we plan on buying DH a new-to-us car. I've already budgeted a car payment into our monthly budget.
3. We hope to be fully TTC starting in March.
4. We want to aggressively save up for a DP along with start-up costs/tool purchases/closing costs and fees and start looking for a house by the end of next year, hopefully sooner.
5. I would like to take a road trip vacation at one point next year and go to Nashville/Hershey Park/ New York and stay a few days in each place for a week's span. I don't think it will happen, but we will definitely go somewhere for our 1 year anniversary weekend.
Re: Goals for 2014
Feb - Start work out routine the second I get the okay (goal is to work off all the baby weight by the end of the year). If I feel up to it, ST!!! I miss ST with different positions without my belly in the way.
March - begin looking for new job, this place sucks. I would like to find a new job before the end of summer.
September - it's our 5 year anniversary and my 30th birthday so I'd like to go somewhere. Not sure yet, but my mom has already offered to watch the baby.
1. Pay off as much debt as we can. No plan for that yet because DH's pay is up in the air right now.
2. Take a family vacation even if it is just to the beach.
3. We are behind on this part but build a better savings account, figure out retirement plans and get life insurance.
4. Sell the house we own but rent out...hopefully to the renter.
5. Figure out my health problems.
6. Start Ava Nichol in Preschool.
7. Continue to do well in school. so far I am doing well but I want to keep the motivation up and continue to do well.
8. Sell stuff we don't need.
9. Eat Healthy and workout for both of us. DH is getting a weight bench for Christmas and we are making a workout room. I am hoping for a treadmill for Mother's day.
10. just enjoy the time we have together as a family!

I have a handful of goals for 2014.
1) In January, spend a wonderful week away alone in Mexico to celebrate our 5th anniversary and kick off TTC#2/round 2.
2) Hopefully get KU with #2
3) Sell our house and buy our next one
4) Use the profit from our house sale to pay off all our debt (aka two car loans and the financing of the windows).
5) Continue making my own health a priority. I have been working out before work 4x a week plus once on the weekend for about 2 months and it has made a huge difference in my outlook. Continue doing this because it is the only way I can make time to do it, and I feel better both physically and emotionally when I'm strong. Also, I would love to lose a few more lbs in the new year before we go to Mexico.
6) Continue to job hunt for a job that is better suited to my interests
7) Continue plugging away at grad school. Possibly do a diploma in nutrition on the side.
8) Start my health and fitness counselling business on the side. I love it so much and don't care if I make a penny, but I want to get back into it.

1 - Have Little Man in late March/early April.
2 - Get back to my pre-pg weight (or less) by the end of the year.
3 - Get a promotion...or a new job closer to home.
4 - Or heck...win the lottery so I can SAH.
5 - DH get a kick ass raise!
6 - Get as much of my graduate loans paid off as possible to get us closer to me being able to SAH.
7 - Finish our basement.
8 - Go on vacation or get away for a weekend. Doesn't matter when...just do it.
9 - Get better about eating healthier and taking care of our bodies.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

I would really like a promotion at work. I've clearly earned it but I'm not sure there will be a spot for me and it's hard to get a promo right before I go on leave. There's not much I can do with this other than wait and see.
Prioritize my health.
Grow the revenue from our small business X2 so DH might be able to stay home when my maternity leave is over.

Continue to get back in shape and get to a point where I am truly proud to show off my "battle scars" from pregnancy.
Go back to school and work on finishing my BA in Psychology.
Pay off debt, including student loans and car payment, now that our savings is where I want it to be.
Focus on being the best mommy I can be for my daughter.
Fall: Run a 5K

2. Pay off credit card debt.
3. Save more money.
4. During the summer I'll have to come up with a kick ass set lesson plans for a sub because my EDD is August 7th.
5. I want to start making meal plans for the crock pot so I have more down time in the evenings.
1. I would also like to organize my household better and keep it as clean as possible. Very hard to do with a toddler, a dog and now add a new baby.
2. Take more family vacations. I would especially love to visit my 97 yr old grandma.
3. Eat better. I think my diet makes me so sluggish and not able to keep up with my girl. She's a spitfire and I'm a lazy ass.
4. Hope to find another house that will accommodate our growing family.
