Books like Jonathan Kellerman's?

My brother-in-law likes Jonathan Kellerman, but I think he's read all of his books. Any similar authors/mysteries he might like? Thank you!
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

you're the best! thanks for that.

I just plugged in my favorite author, Michael Connelly, and guess who popped up very close to him? Jonathan Kellerman. :) So I'll just go ahead and plug Michael Connelly here. A fantastic stand alone novel is Void Moon, or if he's never read anything by Connelly, then you could get him some Bosch books. (First in that line is The Black Echo.) He also wrote the Lincoln Lawyer series, and they're great as well, though no one can top Bosch in my heart. :)
