Off from work making sure H is taken care of and chores get done. I have off tomorrow too which is nice. I work Sunday and that's it. Not a very exciting weekend this week. That's ok because next week we will be going out of town.

Anyone have any plans?

Not sure what our plans are. We were going to go to a small town to look for Christmas stuff, but with all this snow I'm not sure if we will. And I'm not sure what the plan is for Sunday but at some point I need to do laundry, clean and go to the grocery store.

@erollis - Did your H do okay with his wisdom teeth?

Thanks for asking.

He did do well. He's sleeping at the moment. And his check is no where near as puffy as mine were. He did bleed more then I did because of the extra work. Our insurance/ dentist only had 2 come out, along with some other minor cutting of the bone (helps the crown he needs on a molar to fit better). He'll have to go back at some point to get the other two out if they start to bother him or something happens.

He hates the dentist and was dreading the surgery. It went so well he is ok going back for the other two.

KY what Chrustmas stuff were you going to get?

@ky29 - What town are you talking about? I love looking at Christmas stuff...maybe I'd be able to convince DH to go sometime

Today, I'm not sure what we'll do. I have to run a couple of errands after work before going home. AF started today, and I'm cramping, so all I wanna do is go home and lay down. One thing I hate about being off of BC!

Tomorrow, I have to work 1pm-5pm and I'm on call from 5pm-9pm. DH's grandmother's birthday is tomorrow, so they're having a gathering at 1pm. DH will be going to that, and if he's still over there and I get off at 5pm, I'll go over and hang out.

Sunday, I have to work 12pm-4pm and I'm on call frpm 4pm-8pm. If I don't have to work my on-call shift, I'm going to a Hallmark Christmas Open House with DH's family. DH's aunt works at one, so we usually go every year. I think my mom is going to come with me, unless we get more snow Sunday night.

I love this season

DH and I are going to the local Farmers market tomorrow (it's a special Christmas market!) and picking out our tree after that.

He has a work function to go to on Saturday night, but I got out of it by agreeing to babysit for one of my coworkers.

Sunday we will be doing lots and lots of nothing!

@athlete010688 - Metamora. I've never been there.. but I guess it's a "christmas town". DH & his family used to go every year, and his parents still do. I wanted to go there to see if we could buy 2 little angel ornaments.

It's east about an hour.. so I'm not sure if they are getting major snow.

I'm off today but working this weekend so I was trying to get some things taken care of. I mailed my secret Santa gifts and my Christmas cards out today. I should be doing laundry but I'm tired. My sister is coming to watch lil man tomorrow because both H and I have to work but she's insisting on bringing her dog with her and that's making me really nervous about tomorrow.

@jurbs920 - I understand your concern about the dog! It drives DH crazy when dogs are around new babies. I think that's part of the reason we won't get a dog.. he would be too nervous to have them together.

Some studying for an exam are in my plans and then I probably will take a break to get more gifts - esp for coworkers and things like that. I need to get a plan for what to get my Dad and DH. I don't know what to get my 12-yr-old niece either as she has everything already. Then the usual laundry and cleaning chores - fun, fun! Oh, I guess I will try to get some cards out too and maybe if I can fit it in, try baking something.

ky & athlete - I didn't know you guys live in Indiana? I live in Fort Wayne. I never realized so many of us were so close.

DH and I were supposed to go to Cincinnati this weekend to visit a friend, but with all this snow, we decided not to risk it. Its not bad here - just some flurries, but it sounds like everywhere south of us has quite a bit.

I need to mail our Christmas cards and Cookie Exchange invitations, so maybe I'll do that.

Next weekend, I'm having a Stella & Dot party in my house. A friend of mine just became a sales person for it, so I'm having it to help her out. I need to plan out some snacks and stuff to serve for it.
