Yes. My dad is on his 3rd marriage (my mom was his 2nd) and my mom is on her 2nd. My mom has been remarried for over 15 years and my dad has been remarried almost 20.

My parents were married 30 years when my dad died. My dad was sick 15 of those years and living in a hospital/nursing home the last 4. My mom was then single for 6 years not dating and has now been remarried 4 years.

My parents are still together after 27 years of marriage, but I do not consider their marriage a healthy one. They don't respect each other and they dread time together. I don't know what will happen when they become empty nesters in 2 years. I'm worried for them
