Simple small DIY xmas gifts?

We have my H's side xmas thing next weekend. He has cousins, aunts uncles etc who come. I never know who is going to get us gifts, so I didn't want to show up empty handed, but also, don't have the money to buy everyone gifts. I have a large family and we have lots of nieces and nephews to buy for... Does anyone have any ideas I could use to perhaps make something small for everyone?? I am hitting a blank in my mind... ANy ideas girls??? Thanks in advanced. Hope everyone had a great weekend!! xo

  • Pinterest is great for this. Baked goods in mason jars are cute. You can make wine bottle holders out of thick wire or pieces of wood. Use Hodge Podge to transfer old family pictures onto pieces of wood or pages of a bible. Make cute picture frames from grout and tile. Have fun!

Tins of cookies or baked goods are always a hit, or small loafs of banana bread/pumpkin bread/etc. can be cute when wrapped up and tied with a festive bow.

If they are drinkers then bottles of wine or champagne are always nice to give.  I like to do mini themed gifts like a large bowl filled with packets of popcorn, different popcorn seasonings and a movie, or a bottle of champagne with a couple of champagne glasses from the dollar store and some chocolates.

As LittleLady77 said, check out Pinterest, you'll find lots of cute crafty ideas if you don't feel like baking.

  • Another vote for Pinterest!

Last year I made a great foot scrub I found on Pinterest. It was made of olive oil, sugar and peppermint essential oil. Easy, cheap and people loved it!

  • Pinterest is excellent! Sometimes going to Michael's or another craft store in your area can help, too. Last year, Michael's had ceramic mini-bread loaf pans in Christmasy colors for $1, I put cookies inside and some nice ribbon around them. Can't go wrong with baked goods :P

  • I did sugar scrub last year. Super easy and not very expensive. My other go to is baked goods or chocolates.

  • I made sugar cinnamon roasted pecans today and they were so addicting! They would be a great christmas present and would look cute in a mason jar. The recipe was really easy, here's a link if you're interested:

  • Thanks ladies. ANd omg Pinterest, so many ideas. I still am not sure, lol, but I am thinking baked goods in a cute container of some sort. I know I am always happy to get candy and cookies, anytime. :)
