I had my monthly check-up this morning and I freakin' love my OB office. I was asking about labor and delivery and what their stance is on natural/med-free birth. She said they try to be as hands-off as possible. If I want to go natural, awesome. If not, they're cool with that, too. She also said they'd let me go as long as 2 weeks past due before inducing. I hope I don't have to go that long, but I love that they want LO to do what he needs to do to be ready. Every time I go to an appointment, I'm more and more encouraged by this office.

Yay!
Little Man's heartbeat was great. I also had my belly measured for the first time today and I'm measuring 24 weeks...so just a couple days ahead.

And holy crap. My next appointment is my last MONTHLY appointment. Every other week after that. Holy Moly. How has time flown this much?!

Yay! That was my doc's attitude too. Whatever I wanted she was good with. When I asked a question, she told me all the facts, but didn't try to influence me one way or another which I really appreciated. Also when I did go into labor, I was very pleased that I was only asked one time when I arrived if I had been wanting/planning on an epidural. When I responded no, it was never brought up again. I'm sure if my labors had been longer/stalled/more complicated, it may have been a different story, but they were very encouraging and even gave me tips during both labors/deliveries to help me go med free.
It's very important that you mesh well with your doc and it sounds like you do, so yay again
