So I'm sitting between a rock and a hard place. The storm is supposed to blow in here (Rome, ny) around 6pm tonight and stay for like 24 hours potentially giving us several inches of snow. My fight is supposed to leave tomorrow at 3pm. So my options are this: 1. Drive up this afternoon and stay in the airport hotel and hope my flight doesn't get cancelled. 2. Stay the night, hope the storm isn't as bad as they think and drive up tomorrow or 3. Stay here because we can assume my fight will be cancelled and hope I make it out before Friday not knowing what the roads will be like.
I realize you can't tell the future, but maybe you girls have an idea of how often the storms really cause cancelled flights out here? If I didn't have a Christmas party at MY house on Saturday for 60 people I wouldn't even care about a delay, but I DO, so I'm kinda flipping out a little right now. Any thoughts are appreciated!
