Thankful Thursday

What are you Thankful for today?

I know we already did this on Tuesday, but I'm feeling thankful again.

1. I'm thankful that H has had 2 weeks of pure emotional transformation. From talking with our pastor regarding IF treatments, getting baptized, finally getting on board with taking charge of our student loans, and now sending me a text that he's going to do a weight loss competition with one of his good friends that lives 7 hours away and his goal is to lose 100lbs.  I'm purely amazed and feel like I'm falling in love with him all over again.  I've been trying to get him to eat well and exercise since I lost 60lbs 5 years ago.

2. I'm thankful that our m/c gave us the rude awakening that we needed.  I'm not thankful for the m/c, but I'm thankful for how it's changed our lives.  That angel baby has changed us into the people we want to be, which in turn will make us a better mom and dad to its siblings.

Re: Thankful Thursday

  • 1 - I'm still incredibly thankful for insurance... we have a monthly med that retails for $6k for a 30 day supply. Thankfully, we only pay $75 (and in the future, it'll only be $50) a month. So yeah... SOOOOO thankful for insurance.

2 - Also thankful for understanding friends that don't get upset when we had to cancel on them last minute.

3 - I'm thankful that the mushrooms in my lunch were big so I could pick them all out.

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

  • 1) I am thankful for having a sister and a SIL that I can open up to about all of my TTC fears, worries, dreams, etc. They constantly stand by me like a good rock to lean on when I need to cry or just need a boost.
    2) I am thankful for DH and how determined he is to get out house renovation done by January because he knows I am about to lose my mind.
