Christmas Lights

I LOVE Christmas lights! But growing up, we only put Christmas lights on our tree, so I have NO idea how to put lights up in other places without creating holes/sticky mess left over by tape! We did get those special plastic clips for the roof, so I'm covered there. But how can I put up lights around doors/walls/windows without creating holes or a mess? I've tried suction cups (they just fall off) and tape (I still can't get some of the sticky mess from last year off of some places) without any success. If I could figure out how, I would have lights all over the place (inside and out), but I just can't get it to work. Any advice?

Re: Christmas Lights

  • Go to command.com. I have had a lot of sucess with their products. You must follow the instructions or they do not work/work as well.
  • Good for you!  Still to intimidated on this end, please post about what ends up working for you.  I purchased solar snowflakes for a few trees in the back yard which required very little effort but created a cool effect.  Haven't touched the front of the house, but I am curious about magnetic lights which don't require any extra supplies along with less time on a ladder.  Good luck!
