Help me find a slip

I need a slip to wear under skirts/dresses. I have a loose type one that is fine in the spring/summer but doesn't work as well with some of my winter stuff.

My main issue is trying to keep my skirt/dress from clinging to tights. The loose slip just gets really bunched up under my cord skirts. I have those short type slimming things but I don't really like shorts underneath (skirt bunches in between legs)

I swear every time I look in stores though I can't find what I want. I want a more form fitting half slip but I don't need it to be slimming/super tight. It seems that's what everything is. I have 1 and I hate it! Maybe I can go up a size or something to not be so tight I guess. Or everything else is like a whole body suit! No! Don't need that.

Any suggestions? What do you do about skirts/tights issue?

  • Does your cord skirt bunch up with your tights?  I would thing the two wouldn't cling as much as a drapey dress. I have not worn a cord skirt in a long while (though love the look with boots and tights).  Some girls on the GBCN boards swear that skimmies are awesome but I believe the tend to use them without tights to prevent thigh rub :) Not sure if they also do the job of a slip over tights.

The cord skirts are the worst actually. It's not so much clinging but bunching up when I walk.

I lurk on gbcn and have seen the skimmies love. The thing I have on today is very similar to skimmies. But it still lets the skirt kind of bunch up between my legs when I walk.

Maybe I do need a tight slip like spanx or something. That would keep the skirt from being able to bunch up between my legs when walking. Just not sure on a good one. And seriously most I see are full torso type ones!
