Little Guy Update *updated* :)
sorry it took me awhile to update. We went to his appt and while his doc was happy with the 7oz weight gain, he didn't like that he was still yellow so he requested another blood draw. Great. So off to the hospital we went. I waited all day for the results and I thought they would be good since I hadn't heard all day but then the doc called and said his numbers had gone up!
I was floored. He said we could do home treatment or just be admitted and try to nip this in the bud faster. We opted for the hospital stay. So I gathered my things while crying my eyes out. I know jaundice isn't usually a big deal but the thought of putting him through hospital stay and the fact his number was rising, killed me.
So here we are at the hospital. He's been a champ and hanging out on his "tanning" bed with his cool glasses. His numbers have fallen so hopefully we can go home in the morning and move on. So far I haven't had to supplement but like I keep telling them I will do whatever it takes to make sure this is gone. Thanks for thinking of us and sorry if it's long. I am also thinking good thoughts for monkey and sushi.
