Whine - The power went out briefly at 12:15 this morning and my sleep cycle got all effed up. I'm EXHAUSTED today.

Whine/Win - I only had to teach one class today because of holiday activities and the half day, but I still have to stay here even though it's parent teacher conferences and NO ONE will come to see me...

Win - 2 more days until Christmas break, and 8ish until Cancun!

@wiggyslilsis- i was laid off last spring, and we were supposed to go to Disney last summer. We cancelled that trip to save money. Then I got pg and was recalled and I said, "we ARE going away Christmas." He tried to object. Yeah, I didn't listen to that one.

Whine-I started my period again. I am not supposed to be having periods on this BC. I just had my annual and my ob/gyn said if they don't stop happening soon I will need to switch birth controls. This is the only BC I have ever been on that doesn't either kill my sex drive or make me feel like a crazy person.

Win-I can take Ava Nichol with me to my urologist appt tomorrow so I don't have to find a babysitter!

Whine-I keep cleaning the house and it just keeps getting trashed.

Win-I asked DH to help by cleaning the kitchen and he said he would so I don't have to worry about that.

Whine - DH just sent an email to our realtor saying we regretfully have to back out. There's just no way we can cover the gap between what we prequalified for and what they actually approved us for. I'm still really pissed at the guy who sent the prequal because knowing what I know now, there's no way we could have EVER gotten approved for that amount. And we already spent $500 on the home inspection.

Win - Lesson learned. We are better prepared now and I have faith we'll find the home that was meant to be ours.

Whine - My boss was supposed to be at a training all day so I was going to leave a little early, but she decided not to go last minute.

Win - My m/s seems to have gone from being nauseous all day to just once or twice throughout the day.

Oh man, I need my whines. Feel free to ignore them.

Whine: From Oct 24th - Dec 4th I've had my blood taken every week. Today it gets taken again.

Win: If my levels are low enough it will be my last one and hopefully AF will come and we can start trying again!

Whine: I have a feeling they're still too high.

Win: Dh's cousin is coming to visit and stay this weekend. I love her so much! DH works Friday night so Friday night and Saturday are just me an Cousin-IL time to hang out. I'm so looking forward to it!

Win: I have everything planned for Christmas dinner! I just need to go buy it and only reason that is a win is because I'm excited for it, spending money not so much.

Whine: My coworkers cause my such stress! We have a toy donation drive every year and people took names and never bought gifts. The pick up was supposed to be today and I had to call and reschedule. Way to almost ruin Christmas for a bunch of foster kids, guys. Awesome.

Win: DH comes home today and officially isn't traveling again until a month after the baby is born

Whine: Nausea is back in a big way today.

Win: I worked from home yesterday and took a nap in the middle of the day. Why can't I do this in the office?

Win: I washed and put away LO's clothes last night. I am starting to feel more prepared for his arrival

@saisongbird Awesome for vacation, but boo for having to stay.

@wiggyslilsis At least DH is helping with some cleaning, sorry about AF. Playing the switch game with pills is no fun.

@PandPMeant2B I'm sorry about the house, but at least you have a positive look. And at least m/s has gone down, that's always a plus.

@pennstated912 Putting away and setting up has got to be so much fun. And I'm glad YH will be staying put till LOs arrival. Sorry the nausea is back and works don't allow naps. I've asked my boss about that several times and they just laugh at me.

I know. I flipped out on my boss this morning. I felt bad but he walked into it as I was discovering people were missing gifts. And it wasn't 1-2 people. It literally was 15 people

Win: see my aw post with the ultrasound! Win: I sometimes give money to homeless people on the corners and today I passed one and didn't and felt bad about it, but than there was another when i got off the freeway with a dog and I was so glad I could give to him and help the dog too. :-) Win: I got so much done yesterday that I don't think I'm going to do anything else today really Whine: I had an allergy attack at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep till 530am so I'm pretty tired Whine: I don't want to work tomorrow.

Win: I am feeling the baby move quite a bit today! At least I am pretty sure it's the baby!

Whine: I am tired of waiting on my A/S. Just a little over two weeks away now!

Win: We had a meeting on our house yesterday and looks like our estimated closing will be in mid-Feb!

Whine: There have been a lot of delays on our house.

Win: The delays mean more time to save money and hopefully pay down some debt!

Whine: I hate being indecisive. I really want to build a home instead of buying one that needs fixing. I just don't know if it will be worth the aggravation and headaches since DH does not have a high patience level.

Win: DH is agreeing to look at some of the blueprints I looked at today.

Whine: I'm feeling extremely restless and I just want to go home.

Win: I had Mac n Cheese for lunch. I was lazy and didn't feel like packing or making anything.

Whine: I really need to start eating healthier. I can feel sluggish since I started eating unhealthier items... damn you junk food.

@smbenevides1989 I am on the I need to eat healthier boat too. I'm planning after the holidays because all the parties are going to make it way too hard. Bad excuse, I know. I don't think building is a bad idea, you'll have everything the way you want it. And mac n cheese is amazing, I am considering having that tonight instead of pizza.

I was doing well too, but when I revamped my grocery budget, I started adding snacks for Lexi to eat and junk food decided to creep back up. My H is starting a diet again since he gained 20 lbs after our wedding in July - he got a little too settled. I think I'm going to start at that time too, but I'm going to buy healthier options starting this week. Oh and regarding pizza and mac n cheese, I would do both, but a little of each (okay I would eat more pizza, but you get my drift).

I was looking at the houses around here, and all the decent older homes that still need work are hovering around the $250,000+ range, while the new construction homes are around $365,000+. I think if I find land and build a small home suitable to my needs, it would cost me the $250k including land. If my dad could get his license, it would be so much easier to help knock off some prices.

Never under estimate friends either. I have a friend that bought a fixer upper for 14,000 and spent only 10,000 fixing it up because she had so many friends that could help with plumbing, dry wall, roof.

Her brother also built his house that way too.

@smbenevides1989 And as for diet. If I plan it out I'm fine. It was easier when DH works seconds because I would come home and work out with no one there and make my own dinner. He doesn't want to be part of my meal plans, so I don't make him, but I hate making two meals. He's going to need to learn to cook.

I have more whines than wins, but my wins are big ones, so they still beat the whines.

Win: saw my baby today!

Whine: I wish DH was able to be there with me. I think he felt bad. I told him not to worry, he would've been there if it was still on the original day.

Whine:I still have so much Christmas shopping to do.

Win: after Friday I'm off work until Jan 2nd!

Whine: I really need to go food shopping and keep putting it off.

@pandpmeant2b sorry to hear about the house. DH and I have a few deals fall through before we finally found our house now. I want to say it was something like 5 contracts. Sit tight, the right house will come along!
