The longer I chart my cycles, the more I start to understand and am realizing that I don't always ovulate on the same day in each cycle. Frustrating, yes, but at least it's becoming slightly easier to time things correctly.
Last month, I O'd on day 13, this month, it was day 16 (which would be this morning - temp dropped and tested +OPK). We had ST late last night before bed, so I'm keeping fingers crossed that our timing was right this month.
Either way, I've already resigned myself to have my testing done next month, but fx that we might just get lucky this time around.
Btw, I just want to thank everyone here for all of the advice/info/support....if it wasn't for this forum, I probably wouldn't be charting my cycles, but really, it's so important just to know what's going on with your own body and I feel like now when I see the new doctor next month, I'll be better prepared when I bring this stuff with me.
Re: Charting
Charting certainly is a revelation and a great tool once you get the hang of it.
Good luck with your additional testing. Hopefully it has only been a timing issue, and the new information from charting is all it takes and you get your BFP this month

We've tried other stuff too in the last few months - like limiting caffeine intake (1 cup of coffee instead of 2), drinking green tea, ohhhh....and CELERY....an old, dear friend of mine recommended that my H eat celery and lots of it. Supposedly this helps the boys...it may or may not be true, but I will say that I've noticed a significant difference, so I recommend and say you have nothing to lose by incorporating more of this in your diet

I've heard a few different things regarding the EOD. Such as if the man has a lower count, it's better to do every other day to build up. We started out that way, then tried every day, then every other day....that was before I was actively charting though and now that I've been charting a few months, it's becoming easier to hone in on which day I'm ovulating - and I've noticed that I don't ovulate on the same day in every cycle.
If your H has the stamina to go more than once a day, I say go for it! lol
I started kind of charting a couple months ago. Checking my CM yet not temping. Still not really a clue what's going on. Still learning about my body. Lol We do have sex pretty often, at least a few times a week, no matter what. So FX!
