    Busy.  Then I came home and J had brought me flowers!

    Now I am sitting here thinking while he makes dinner about a job that someone sent me. Its being a Hall director on the Fargo campus.  About the same pay. Live in position. Starts June 1. Free schooling and meal plan.  I meet or exceed all the qualifications and preferred qualifications. I would be 5 hours from my family instead of 12. I would work with a good friend of mine. It does require longer hours, and of course moving.

    Ooo pros/cons list! I love those! :) I agree with Mark. If it makes you happier, what's the con to that ;) What does your husband say?

    I just poured a (full) glass of wine to drink while I finish up the last two papers of the semester. Sooo ready to be done

    Pro- free housing furnished not paying for utilities, internet, cable free schooling for J and I 5 hours from my family Working where I live working with a close friend job security retirement plan Con- Leaving my kids leaving my house More hours Possibly delay TTC Moving is stressful Colder weather Would have to sell a lot of our stuff bc we would be downsizing a lot

    Making big decisions like this, I use similar decision making strategies, such as shopping. I see something I like (in this case a job) and I walk away from it for a few hours, see how it feels not having it. If you keep thinking about it and want to go back for it, then buy it :) Same thing, if you temporarily make a decision to take the job: sit with it. See how it feels overnight and see how you feel in the morning :) Not very scientific at all, but I definitely go based on "would I regret it more if I passed this by or if I went for it." Also, Jared's say matters too haha.

    I'm here... unusually, but here. I was going to say get out the yellow legal pad... 

    I agree with Jean. I think that is the best way to make a decision.

    Well I feel like this week was a purge of informations for my boss

    I told her about the pg rumor, the bitchy email, how I wanted my room moved, how I am looking at jobs and wanted a letter of reference, how I felt discounted during a meeting yesterday. I think that is everything that was on my chest.

      So we'll see how it all goes.  I am off for 2 weeks and I think we all need some time to reflect.
