    Seventh Anniversary 1000 Comments 500 Love Its Name Dropper
    OMG I'm so glad you asked.  Last year leading up to our first Christmas as a married couple, I asked Chad what he wanted to be our traditions.  He answered, "Bacon."  So, on Christmas morning, he wakes up before me (not super unusual) and fries up a pound of good bacon with our cat at his feet.  Lol...

    We just follow the family traditions of the ones we are with that year.  Will probably make new ones when we have kids.

    Moderator 500 Love Its 1000 Comments Fourth Anniversary
    Our tradition is to stop at Marist College on the way home from Christmas Eve dinner and take pictures under the tree they have outside their church. It is a huge Christmas tree all decorated with lights that we just adore. We have been doing it every year since we have been together.

    Oh and we also have the selfish tradition of opening Christmas presents in the morning with no one but ourselves. We do not invite anyone over for Christmas morning.

    Homemade gingerbread waffles, hot chocolate, in front of the tv watching the Christmas parade on TV. Then we open gifts together.

    I don't eat bacon, but that sounds awesome! I love that you have a cute and quirky new tradition :)

    The only thing that is coming to mind is our coffee run. Although it won't be nearly as active this year. We have a gas station/convenience store chain in our area and on Christmas and New Year's, they offer free coffee and self-serve cappuccinos all day. There are at least seven locations within the city limits. So Christmas day involves a ton of stops and a lot of cappuccino.
