Question: LR TTC timeclock
I have a question that may be silly, but I'm curious, so you ladies are the best to answer.
When it comes to TTCing after a loss, do you:
1) start the 'clock' from the first cycle you are actively trying after the loss, or from the beginning of TTCing including the months you were preg/TTA after a loss?
Or 2) do you add your pre-loss TTC months to your post-loss TTC months to equal total months TTCing?
I'm inclined to say #2, but I'm interested in your thoughts. Does it depend on the circumstances?

TTC since May 2011, 1 year trying, and then 3 TI, 2 IUI = BFN
IVF #1 (May 2013): Antagonist Protocol:24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
IVF #2 (August 2013): Lupron Stop Protocol:
28R, 23M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 1 partially hatched blast, 7 frosties = BFP
EDD 5/23/14, blighted ovum (6w6d), D&C (8w6d)
FET #1 (April 2014): transferred 2 5d blasts = BFP

The count would be for the purpose of an RE referral for example. With PCOS, I'm used to 'counting' my time in months and not cycles, so it adds to the confusion in my head I guess.

When I spoke with the RE after our loss, he told me to count our TTC in months including the months of TTA after the loss and during the pregnancy. So technically we were TTC for 9 months (2 of those being pregnant and 1 TTA). He also told me to add in the months we were NNT (not sure if you did that at all prior to full on TTC). So according to him, we've been "trying" for a year in January.
Hope that helps a little, and my explanation makes sense.
