We got out of work a little early because of the snow. We came home and I started shoveling the driveway while DH walked the dog, and one of the snow removal tractors came by and removed the rest of my snow. I was almost done, but it was still a nice gesture.
When DH brought the mail in there was a box of girl guide cookies and a school picture from my niece and a lovely card and piece of Christmas fabric from
@rccola1981 (Thanks!!!).
How was your day?

Re: What a nice day!
My day was fab! Our director at work took us all out for lunch (his treat!), and I stuffed myself with a couple of glasses of wine and a plate of pesto risotto with chicken.
It was a laid back day in the office, with cards from all my coworkers, some with tasty chocolate treats, and the one from my boss with a $25 Amazon gift card! I bought a new DVF tote with it that I just found yesterday on clearance! Perfect timing, since the tote will be perfect to fit my new laptop to come in a couple of weeks!

I took the day off work and slept in which was awesome. Dh and I went to lunch and then after he left for work I went clothes shopping. I had been holding onto some gift cards in hopes that'd Id be buying maternity clothes with them in a few months but now that that is on hold I bought a bunch of cute tops, two of which make my boobs look fab!
Now I'm at my little brothers basketball game and later will be spent cleaning or lounging on the couch, the later is more likely.
Oh and it's also almost 60 degrees here so I may open the windows when I get home, I love getting fresh air in the house.
Alan is out paint balling so I'm going to watch Nightmare with a glass of wine.

Crap, now I have a lesbian crush on you, too.
"I DO NOT love that you think so many things revolve around you. I know you're bitter. I get it. But I'm over your feelings." The best person on the internet ever!
Then on my way home I got in an accident and totally screwed up my car (completely undriveable). And I'm pretty sore. But I am okay and the other driver was okay, so I'll count myself lucky enough.
So yea, my day was shitty.
I'm happy your day was good, NFP! :-)

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI'm still at work. I'm on a team of 8, and 3 of us work the night shift. Well, one girl is on vacation and one is out because she works tomorrow. I'm the only one here tonight and I've only been in this position formally for a couple of weeks.
I've messed up twice (already fixed) but have handled things our team wouldn't normally handle and handled them really well. And I've still had time for moderate Nesting. So, overall it's been a meh day.
OH but I took my last final of the semester this morning, so there's that too I suppose.

Hope you're ok BEB.

Rainy and dark. Traffic was backed up. Tried to go around a car and as I went to go around she slammed on her brakes and I clipped her back end. Luckily I wasn't going very fast and no other cars hit us. I couldn't pull over to the shoulder because my front passenger side is completely smashed. Had lanes on both sides of me moving, that was the scariest part!
