So my mom's bf tells me during Christmas dinner he got the best Christmas gift this year. I ask him and he tells me when he met up with his daughter the other day for Christmas with her, he gave her his gift, and she replied "thanks Grandpa."

Later my Step-SIL and Step-BIL stop over. I notice that Step-SIL stomach looks different and realize, she's wearing maternity pants. Of course, she announces she is pregnant. 

My mom's bf is a recovering alcohol (11 years this month) so I didn't have any drinks at dinner out of respect for him. I'm off work tonight so I am so stopping and getting myself a bottle of wine and having my own little party.

    Hope the wine helped! I've definitely been partaking in the booze as much as possible without getting sloppy in order to get through the season when WE were planning to be that couple announcing.

    @LuckyAngel07 That's what hit me the other day after Step-SIL told me was that it was suppose to be DH and I announcing the sex. 

    Thankfully I didn't cry, it just sucked. I will enjoy my wine and I guess continue to wait my turn. We'll both be there soon, I know it.
