It's slippery as waterweed.

Re: FRIDAY CONFESSIONS

  • H came up with this "grand idea" that I should go back to school.  I want to kick him because that was the original plan until we talked about needing an additional income to buy a house.  Now that I'm three months into a full time job, he tells me I should've gone back to school.  I swear he forgets our big life conversations sometimes.

  • It's not a confession, but I am absolutely seething about the way someone at work just behaved.  She was so rude and condescending. Bitch all you want behind closed doors and to your boyfriend at home, but don't behave that way to me, especially in front of my coworkers.

  • It's 3:26 and I'm still in bed.  In my defense, we were travelling and got in late.  I also got up once around 9 to go pick the dogs up from the kennel, but went straight back to bed as soon as I got home.  Luke is working late and I don't plan on getting up today at all.  So there.

I see nothing wrong with this.

  • I found my old Kindle Fire today.  I swore up and down that the hotel where we had stayed right before I lost it stole it when I couldn't find it at home, but it had fallen into the couch.   Mind you, I flipped over the couch and stuffed my hands down in it numerous times looking for the damn thing when that happened, and yet I never found it then.  The couch has even been moved from one house to our current one...never found it.  It wasn't until we were removing the old couch today and we turned it on its end that I heard a thunk so I manhandled/ripped the lining out of the bottom and there the bloody damn thing was!  I still can't get over it.  I blame the faeries.

  • We're having Claire's birthday party at our house tomorrow.  Whoever thought this was a good idea so soon after Christmas should be tarred and feathered.

  • We are planning to move to Brooklyn in April. The closer we get to the move, the more I'm freaking out about it. I've lived in big cities before. Houston and San Diego do not compare to the choas of NYC. I love it and I'm excited, but also terrified.
I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.
