S/O Supernatural (TV)

This has come highly recommended to me from people here and elsewhere.  I love CW shows and I'm a huge Buffy fan (read: OMG). I've seen about 5 episodes of Supernatural, and while I find the premise pretty neat, I'm not getting hooked.  I like the brothers, especially the older one.  See I can't remember their names yet!  How long do you expect it to take to really get involved? I know if I get involved, it's going to be for the long haul with so many seasons.  I see GIFs of the show and it seems like it must be really funny. Maybe I'm just not there yet?

Watch it. Omg. I wasn't crazy about it at first either but halfway through season one I was hooked. The show is hilarious and also has plenty of emotional/suspenseful/what the heck just happened moments.

    ETA: Also, hot men.

  • Definitely keep going! If I remember right, the first season was kind of cheesy at times but then you get hooked and by the end of season 1 you're all, "SAM AND DEAN, DON'T EVER LEAVE ME!"

  • I saw the Supernatural Bat signal in the air and had to comment.

I've been watching and hooked since Season 1, episode 1. I loved the premise and the storytelling is great and it has some of the best lines, best characters, and it rips your heart out.

It's the best and my #1 favorite tv show. It IS funny but not in a kick you in the butt, spit on your neck funny, except when it is :-)

Keep in mind this is coming from the girl who has gone to 2 Supernatural Cons. If you ever see my twitter, it's filled with Supernaturaly things
  • I came to this show late. I saw a few episodes on TV and thought it was cheesy. But then I started it on Netflix from the beginning and by the middle of the first season, I was hooked. It's funny, it's clever, there are hot boys, and let's not forget Bobby Singer.
I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.
