Has your H ever been rude or disrespectful in front of anyone or in public?

It happened to me tonight and I was shocked! Didn't even know what to do or say. Arguing would just make it worse. Wth?

    I took my iPad and said I'm going to bed. He said why are you being such. B? But I really was tired and just wanted to go to bed. I got a text this morning apologizing. I still don't like it.

    Ouch!  Yeah that was uncalled for.  P has done stuff similar to that but not exactly like that in front of his family a few times.  Very few and I usually wait until we leave to discuss it with him.

    I'm sorry he said that to you but I'm glad that he at least apologized.

    wow...not ok. It would take a lot of apologizing for me to not be annoyed.  But I hold grudges. 

    I hope he makes it up to you this weekend!!  You deserve it.

    Jen, do you have German heritage? It seems like people with German heritage, me being one of them, like to hold grudges... 

    J isn't normally rude, but he does things to people that he doesn't realize he does because of the aspergers. So he will either leave in the middle of a conversation, or not pick up that someone is trying to talk to him. My dad on the other hand does this all the time. All. The. Time. He's worse in front of strangers because he doesn't have to face them again. I am sorry this happened!

    My mom is german, but my family has a strong irish heritage.  When I visited Dublin, I kept seeing my maiden name all over.  I think my grudge holding comes for my midwestern mindset.  Passive aggressive, but nice to your face grudge holding culture. I am working on it.

    Its weird to be out here in Colorado and have people be rude. I have never had people not like me until I moved out here.  After I thought about it, I realized that some people didn't like me in MN but just couldn't tell me.
