Intro post:)

I was the OP of 'I'm so bitter' and a bunch of you asked me to do an intro post, so here we go!:)

I'm 22, my DH is 23. We got married August 24, 2013 when I was 21 (yep, I got married young... Most people call me a baby still.lol) we dated 2 years before we got married and originally met online, then met in person for the first time at Starbucks, so it's kind of our place. :) I'm a full time student, a certified phlebotomist (the vampire of hospitals!) and a full time Nanny. I don't know exactly what I want to be yet.lol My husband has a degree in Law Enforcement, but is working in a machine shop because it pays more and the insurance is better. Once we get his shoulder healed, we'll be going Air Force. We've had 3 miscarriages, all before we got married and since getting married we've been struggling with being unable to get pregnant at all. Which would be what made me check out this forum to begin with. I'm looking forward to talking with all of you. I definitely need friends who understand what I'm going through, seems like all of my friends/associates now have no issue popping out children.. So they definitely don't know much about what I'm going through.

Okay. I've rambled on long enough! Thanks for welcoming me so warmly to this little community. :)

Re: Intro post:)

  • Thank you for the intro - and welcome again!

Have you spoken to your doctor if there is underlying reason for the recurrent miscarriages?

  • Have you spoken to your doctor if there is underlying reason for the recurrent miscarriages?

I have, I'm scheduled for a ultrasound next week. The first one was caused by stress and I never asked for reasons on the 2nd or 3rd. I just couldn't handle them.

Also, I'm a communications major specializing in Public Relations.:)
  • Welcome to the board. I'm also very sorry for your losses.

I agree with PPs about getting a repeat loss panel done. Three losses is when most doctors would start looking into this sort of thing. You may want to find a specialist, called a reproductive endocrinologist (RE), to help get to the bottom of why you're having these losses.

I would try not to stress too much for the time being about not getting pregnant since your wedding. There are a lot of things that go into a successful fertilization and implantation, good timing just being the start of this. If you're not already charting, I'd recommend looking into it. At the very least, it can help you see what your body is doing at various stages of your cycle. Fertilityfriend.com is highly recommended around here.

I really hope your doctors can get to the bottom of your losses and help you stay pregnant the next time it happens.
