Happy New Year, nesties!!
*YAWN* First day back in the office, tough transition!!! But at least it's a short week. And then I have the MLK holiday to look forward to.

How was break for everyone? Christmas? new year? Anything exciting to report??

I enjoyed the holidays so much! Mine was the same as Amanda's - the perfect mix of activities and down time. I have had some type of stomach bug since Sunday which made us cancel our NYE plans, but the fact that I was so relaxed from my time off and not worrying about work/child care helped so much! It was hard to leave the boys this morning, but work isn't so bad knowing that it's Thursday already!

Liam woke up on Christmas eve morning with it and was in bad shape all day, but much better for Christmas day, so we were thankful for that. Brian came down with the same thing 3 days later.
It's not a holiday in our house until someone is puking!!

Not happy to be back. Car wouldn't start then keys got locked in. Luckily got it open and jumped but have to get a new battery today. Am hoping that the car starts when I leave work today especially with the crappy weather for this afternoon!
Be safe everyone - my boss just held a team call telling everyone to plan to work remotely tomorrow with the weather coming. BE CAREFUL!
Our break wasn't much of one, as I only had last Th and Fri off, but it was fun taking the older two to see "Frozen" on Friday. Yesterday was actually the only day where I felt somewhat rested - I did clean the kitchen head to toe and did a couple of loads of laundry, but I managed to have some down time in between errands and child feeding/changing/wiping/entertaining as well.
Monday will be nice as Gavin goes back to school then and won't be bored bc I'm working and the other two are at daycare!
