Re: Weekend Plans

  • Tonight we'll be visiting DH's grandfather in the hospital.  He just had a pacemaker put in yesterday.  Fun times.

Tomorrow we have our first Childbirth prep class!  It's from 9:30-4:30.  DH isn't looking forward to the long day.  He was asking me this morning if they'll let us nap so we can "know what it's like to be Little Man and sleeping most of the day."  Goofball.

Sunday we'll be de-Christmasing our house.  Never any fun.

  • This is our first slow weekend in a while.

We are going to MIL's tonight for dinner.

Saturday will be cleaning up the house, grocery shopping and playing board games out at my parents.

Sunday will be a lazy day. Dinner at my parent's and logging into my online school to check out my new classes and possibly get a head start on some assignments.

Oh and not really the weekend but Monday I have an appt with the endocrinologist to discuss my cortisol level coming back high 3 separate times and further testing since I don't have the traditional signs of high cortisol.

  • Happy Friday, ladies!

Tonight will be a relaxing night in, hopefully. I've been falling asleep on the couch between 7 and 9 every night his week and I'm still exhausted.

Tomorrow we are going shopping!  My bump is making an appearance much sooner than I thought it would, so I need new clothes.  My regular clothes still fit for the most part but they're not comfortable (especially by the end of the day) and I don't feel good in them. I have a bunch of gift cards to use, but the closest maternity store is 45 minutes away, so we're making a day out of it.

Sunday we are cleaning and finally taking down the Christmas tree. We meant to do it on Wednesday but got busy with other things.

  • Zero solid plans this weekend! I need a total non-social weekend after all of Christmas week, haha!

I'll probably take all the decorations off the tree so DH can put it out at the curb, and I'll put away the other Christmas paraphernalia around the living room.

The floors need a serious cleaning, so that's on the list; we'll see if it gets done. And laundry is always a weekend chore, so that'll happen at some point.

Other than that, taking things easy, watching lots of Netflix, and anxiously looking forward to next Wednesday's appt.

  • Today and tonight we are stuck in the house due to snow and cold.  I will keep cross-stitching and will finish choosing and inputting my chorus music for the spring.

Tomorrow: Grading reflections entries and probably starting to take down the tree.

Sunday: Whining and hiding - I don't want to go back to work on Monday OR get the rhogam shot!

  • I don't have one... I'll check in occasionally. Sounds like its a long process. She told me not to expect a baby til Monday late afternoon at the earliest. "It's a marathon, not a sprint" is what she kept saying at my appointment this morning. Awesome.

  • Today... school is closed so I'm laying on the couch napping off and on. Tonight we're going to dinner as our last pre-baby hurrah.

Tomorrow... Matt has work, so my mom is coming up and helping me clean and finish up the baby's room.

Sunday... relaxing most of the day, I think we'll end up going to a hockey game in the afternoon

  • I don't think we have plans for tonight as I'm still trying to get better (luckily I'm feeling an improvement). Hopefully by tomorrow I'll be more myself. I'd like to go to hobby lobby and finish making a friend of ours christmas gift. Dh and I also have free movie tickets, so that could be something to go do. That's about it besides tons of laundry and cleaning.

Waiting on my baby girl <3 EDD 2/5/14

  • I am nesting like crazy. Hold me back.

I will probably tear up the house, purge and do what I can around the boys playing today and tomorrow. And of course soak in playing with the boys. I'll also rest when I can because I am at that point in pregnancy when I am starting to get TIRED!

Sunday I HOPE to go to my Mum's while DH works. That's usually what I do but she has been so sick these last few weeks. So I am hoping she's better becausae it's just so wonderful to go there every week but I don't want to risk the boys getting sick.

  • I pretty much stay at home these days. I plan to snuggle babies and such. We don't want to take them anywhere they don't need to go in order to keep them healthy. It's too big a risk due to their prematurity and it being flu and RSVP season.

  • @katiekim0815 hope your mom is feeling better! I love going out to my mom's every weekend. I need to clean and purge the house like you are talking about but I just don't have the motivation.

@spin25 that makes sense. I would be nervous taking them out during sick season as well. Plus you can get so many baby snuggles in now while they are small and squishy :)

  • Hi ladies :) I'm back.

We have no plans this weekend. We are exhausted from the trip and plan to just be lazy. I do have to go pay my car today but I think that's it.

I also need to catch up here. Looks like I missed a lot.

I hope everyone has a great weekend :)
