WIJFR _World After_ (Penryn #2) NS
For those of you who liked _Angelfall_, definitely grab this one. It was really well done. Rarely do I want to cheer out loud at the end of a book -- but I was tempted at the end of this one.
I liked it even better than the first. I hope Susan Ee gets cracking on #3!!

Yes - five books. I like them so I am not complaining.
She's set it up for Paige to have a more significant role in the next book(s). I don't know how I feel about that. Paige creeps me the hell out.
I'm happy that she gets to stretch it out to 5 books so that everything doesn't have to be tidied up by the next book. There are a lot of unanswered questions still.
One thing is for sure, these books are brutal. The gore and violence is in line with the hunger games. Not for those with a weak stomach.

I know! They are pretty gruesome. Which normally, I don't like. But this is working for me.
Paige creeped me out for the first 80% of the book. But the last several chapters, I saw her for who she (most likely) really is. And she might be pretty kick ass - which could be fun.
The mother is quite the piece of work, too. Bizarre! But it's nice to feel like I am reading something that hasn't been done too many times before.
#3 doesn't have a title let alone a date. Boo.
