I can't explain how much I love this book! I feel like RR has been spying on the conversations @elistar and I have had in the course of our friendship. I have highlighted practically the whole book. I must be honest and say when I first started, I thought it would be just one of those OK books and I couldn't understand all the commotion about Lincoln. To me, Lincoln seemed like a stage 5 clinger who needed a backbone and the next thing I know I'M CRYING! I just couldn't stop crying as Lincoln was helping Jennifer and changing her tire AND THEN when Jennifer was re-telling Beth everything. Once Lincoln quit, I couldn't wait to see how they would finally speak and begin their happily ever after!! This book is my favorite Rowell book by far!

I loved this one as well. It was absolutely adorable. I really loved all the Y2K hype as well because it's funny to remember how crazy everyone was about this and then nothing happened.

I recently read this and I loved it too. I thought it was an interesting premise and I thought the story was well done. I do think that an author less awesome than RR could have easily tanked the premise because Lincoln would have been nothing more than a creepy, stage 5 clinger stalker. One of the things I really love about RR is how complex her characters are. They're never just the standard hero types, you know?

I loved this one too! I read it before I read Eleanor and Park and then after reading E&P and loving it I looked up Rainbow Rowell and was surprised to find I had already read and loved something by her.

I also loved it! I can't wait for her next book! I was still swooning over Fangirl when I read this, and then after I finished Attachments, I was like, "Huh. Is that my favorite? Or the other one?" I was such a HUGE fan of Fangirl, and I never expected to love Attachments just as much!

Agreed. I liked it but I didn't "OMG LOVE IT" like a lot of people on the board. I can't decide a favorite between Attachments and Fangirl. It's too close to call.

I loved loved loved Attachments. I read it on my iPad kindle app in one night when the electricity was out and it was 93 degrees and too hot to sleep since there was no air.

Gosh that sounds lovely right now.

I do agree that the discovery of Rainbow Rowell is the best thing that happened in my reading life in 2013!

I also love how I'm from Lincoln, Nebraska, and live between there and Omaha, so it actually "hits home" for me! Books never take place here! lol
