Sorry I haven't been around much. We were closed for almost 2 weeks and I hate having to type on my ipad instead of a computer!

What big plans do you have for 2014?

This year is really a transition year for us. We really need to save more and do some things home improvement wise. I need to get my health together and hopefully start TTC. I don't have anything exciting to look forward to this year no big trips or anything but hope it will set us up for good things!

We have three weddings including my brother's so that will take up most of our vacation time and disposable income. For H & I, we'll probably just continue saving for a house. I'd LOVE to go on a real vacation, but I doubt that will happen as his cousin is getting married in FL next year, so we'll have to fly down for that.

We settle on our new house at the end of the month. That's the biggest thing for us this year. I'm hoping to start TTCing again but we'll see. H still wants to wait another year or two.

We have a few close babies being born this year. Also H is hoping to have a new job by June so fingers crossed everything works out. Other than that just getting bills paid down/off and working on saving for a house. Then Ethan's first birthday will be in Sept so of course planning that party. And my cousin is getting married March 2015 and I am her MOH so I will be busy planning lots pf stuff for her and helping her with lots of planning (she is like my little sister and she has mo siblings).

We closed on the house just over a week ago and we are waiting to get keys so we can start moving. I am very excited for that. We are TTC. We don't have much planned except getting the house in order.

Having a baby in March! I'm sure that our lives will revolve around that for a long time Lol. I dont plan on going back to work so this year will be a huge huge adjustment for us. But we are gonna do whatever it takes for me to be able to stay home with our little one.

Going to Florida in April! Other than that we hopefully will get some home improvements done and probably go to the ILs in Iowa sometime this summer. I also am just going to enjoy being a mom this year!

Well this came out of nowhere, but I think we are looking into a townhouse as a starter home. We got a quote from our apartment landlord to resign a lease, and it's pretty steep. Got us thinking about a mortgage instead. H is doing all kinds of research on it lately and we've found a neighborhood that we like (just across the street from our place now. Great location). Plus, if all goes well we will be TTC December (but that's probably more of a 2015 goal)

Let's see. We closed on our pile of dirt on Friday, so now we're just excited to see the house start to come together. We've been told we should be able to move in around May.

Meanwhile, after TTC since the wedding, we finally headed in to see an RE, and I am scheduled for a little procedure next week. If all that goes well, word on the street is we'll be able to move forward with IUI.

I'm not going to lie, I'm also a little excited that we've already 'claimed' Thanksgiving! H's parents will be out of town (it would be our year to spend it with them) so we will be having it at our new house, with my family. I know it's forever from now, but we're still excited

Other than those, we just have our annual tradition type things. In August, H will ride the PMC, and I will volunteer (just booked our rooms!!) In Sept, we'll both volunteer at the Life is Good Festival, etc.

My folks are trying to put together a family vacation, but I don't have much PTO, so I am not sure if I'll be able to make it.

I also hope H and I can find a couple of weekends to get away somewhere!
