Buddy Reads Sign-Up
Hi ladies!
This is how it works: comment in this thread to let me know you want to participate in Buddy Reads. I'll leave it up for a few days for those that don't check the Nest daily or are not around today. At the end of the week, I'll randomly pair you up with another Nestie. Please PM them and make a decision between the two of you on what book you'll read together over the course of January/February. Please post your discussion on here and mark your posts for spoiler appropriateness. This will allow other Nesties to pop in if they've read the book too. It worked well last time if you discussed throughout the book to mark the post like: The Fault in Our Stars; SP to pg. 150 or such.
Most importantly, only sign up if you plan on participating. There is nothing that sucks more than getting paired up with a buddy, choosing a book, and then the other one flakes out and you've no one to discuss it with for this purpose.
For the Newbies, when you get paired, it helps if you're Goodreads friends with your buddy because you can compare books to choose one you both haven't read but are interested in!
